Davie Goodman

Davie Goodman

Davie is country & western singer-songwriter based on Lummi Island, WA with musical roots in San Francisco, Ojai, and Santa Cruz, CA.

Background

While in Santa Cruz, Davie joined the reggae band Ancestree in 2010, and taught himself to play piano and organ. He moved to Oakland, CA in 2016, and released Lo-Key EP, his debut indie rock album, in 2017. Then he moved to San Francisco and set up a music studio at Secret Studios, where he played drums and toured with another reggae band called: Foggy Dubz.

Shorly after joining and touring with Foggy Dubz, Davie decided to rebuild a 1985 Toyota Dolphin, named Yote, and go out on tour playing country music up and down the West Coast.

While playing country music up in the Pacific Northwest, he met his wife, Cassa. And during the pandemic, he moved up to Washington to start a family with her. Their daughter was born a year later. You can find them out on the road together playing music, or staying cozy by the fire at their home on Lummi Island, WA.
